KARACHI: A six-year-old rape victim, Tooba shifted to intensive care unit (ICU) after throat operation at Civil Hospital, Karachi.
The doctors said that her throat and wrist were cut from two ends. They said that Tooba will be able to talk after 48 hours. The doctors said that torture marks were also present on her body.
According to the details, unidentified accused threw Tooba in critical condition in a stream near Korangi Causeway. Police shifted the girl to the hospital. Earlier, she told the doctors that her name is Tooba and her father name is Bashir. Tooba said that she lived in Korangi and belonged to Mithi, a town of Tharparkar District.
Police could not find any clue about the accused so far.
