Karachi (September 24, 2017): Seven fire tenders are trying to bring the fire that erupted earlier today at a restaurant situated on the ground floor of a commercial building in Boat Basin area here.
According to police the fire was caused by the electrical short circuit.
The seven fire tenders trying to bring the fire under control include fire tenders of the Karachi Port Trust.
The windows panes and the glasses of the commercial building, spread over three floors, shattered due to the intensity of the fire.
Rescue officials said the gas cylinders and plastic furniture of the restaurant aided the spread of the fire.
No loss of life or injuries has been reported.
