KARACHI: Seventy-six suspects were arrested during combing operation by police against criminal elements in various areas here including Rizvia, Shah Rasool colony, Maripur Truck Stand, and Sharifabad. Two robbers were also arrested in injured condition while committing robbery in a house in Nazimabad No. 4 area while two accomplices managed to flee.
According to police Saeed Gul, Ali Muhammad, Razamand Khan, and Mirza Faisal Baig were arrested during combing operation in Rizvia Colony; 20 suspects were arrested from Shah Raool Colony, seven suspects were arrested from Maripur Truck Stand while seven suspects were arrested from Sharifabad.
Arms and narcotics were recovered during the combing operation. Investigations are underway from arrested suspects.
Meanwhile Jamshed Quarters police arrested three suspects during action in Jehangir Road Balochparah area.
