KARACHI: Extortionists have been reactivated in the city after months of silence as it was revealed that a local businessman has received a demand to pay Rs1.5 million by unknown men here on Thursday.
As per details, a trader in the Soldier Bazar area of Karachi received a demand for extortion money worth Rs1.5 million by an unknown person, who handed the trader the slip and fled from the scene.
On the other hand, AbbTakk has acquired the CCTV of the incident in which it can be seen that a man entered the shop of a local businessman in the locality of Soldier Bazar and handed him over the slip and escaped from the shop.
The trader has been advised to stay away from the police to ensure his security and directed to contact the given number for further details.
However, the police have registered a case of the said matter and started investigations.
