KARACHI: Approving another challan over May 12 incident against Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar the administrative Judge of Anti-terrorism Courts forwarded two cases to Anti-Terrorism Court.
Police presented the challan against the suspects which the court approved. According to challan Waseem Akhtar has confessed that decision was made at Nine-zero to not let then chief Justice Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhary to come to Karachi and that Shahrah-e-Faisal was sealed by containers on his order.
Police accuses suspects of arson, attempted murder, and vandalism. Twenty-two suspects are absconding and there are attempts to arrest them.
A case for incinerating speeches and facilitation is registered against Waseem Akhtar at Malir City Police Station which the court accepted today.
