The deadline of Supreme Court for removal of billboards from different areas of Karachi due to following monsoon rains has been ended thus 80% of billboards have not been removed so far across the city.However, it has been revealed that administration would do China operation to show high military.
As deadline to remove dangerous and illegal billboards has been ended but it has not been removed from streets and main highways as per the Supreme court order, thus 80% of billboards are still on streets so far while new boards have been exposed in some areas of metropolis.
The billboards which were removed during China operation carried out by the administration to show high military, are still on roads and footpaths which may cause of accident anytime.According to sources, administration is afraid to remove billboards of high profile dignitaries.Whereas, it is to mention here that almost 10,000 illegal billboards have been placed in Karachi.
