Karachi blankets hot and humid weather, rains expected in sub-urban areas today

Karachi: The meteorological department has said that Karachi is blanketed by hot and humid weather however in some areas rains are expected.

The met department predicted that the weather is likely to remain hot whereas heavy rains with thunderstorm along with gusty winds expected in sub-urb areas of Karachi in the next 24 hours.

The lowest temperature recorded at 32 degree centigrade and maximum temperature is likely to remain 37 to 39 degree centigrade.

The humidity level in air is 79 percent while see breeze are closed while North westerly winds are blowing with a slow speed.

As per the met department heavy rains are likely to be poured in some areas of Karachi, Thatha, Sujawal, Sanghar, Badin, Tharparkar, Umar kot, Mithi and Mirpurkhas.

On the other hand the weather analyst said that low pressure existed in the North Arabian sea resulted in closure of see breeze in Karachi.

North Eastery hot and humid winds are blowing in the city. Owing to high humidity the intensity of heat is exceeding 46 degree centigrade.

Whereas the intensity of feeling heat is surpassing 50 degree centigrade in the sea areas.
