Karachi (December 7, 2017): A seven years old boy, who had been abducted from Defence in the morning, was recovered by police during an operation in Gulistan-e-Johar tonight.
According to the details, a seven-year-old Abaan, son of Ghufran, was abducted from Khayaban-e-Roomi intersection in Defence. Two men wearing masks kidnapped Abaan when he was on his way back from school accompanied by his mother.
Police sources said the kidnappers also snatched the mobile phone of the mother before nabbing her child. The father of the kidnapped child is a spare parts dealer. The captors asked the mother to contact them by 6 pm it she wanted to see her son alive.
Earlier, Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal took notice of the kidnapping and summoned report form DIG South. He directed the police to take effective and comprehensive measures to recover the boy.
