Karachi: Raza Haroon, who recently joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has said that he really impressed with Asif Zardari emotions and wishes for Karachi.
Addressing maiden press conference with the PPP provincial leader Nisar Khoro, Raza Haroon said that the PPP co-chairman wanted politics for Karachi instead of politics on the name of Karachi.
Former PSP leader, ex-provincial minister Raza Haroon apprised that we had met with Asif Zardari in the start of November last year.
He said that for the political interests, a divide has been created between Sindhis and Muhajirs. He said that we will decrease differences between urban and rural population.
Raza Haroon said that no any single party can fix problems of Karachi having 300 million population early.
Karachi prosperity and development can’t be possible without a charter of Karachi, Raza Haroon said.
He said that we must have to do devolution of power to lower level all across the country including Sindh.
At the occasion, the PPP Sindh President Nisar Khoro said that whole of the nation is waiting for the elections and on the other hand efforts are being made for derailing the democracy.
Former provincial minister said that elections have held in the country despite a spree of terrorism, earthquake and floods.
He expressed regret over situation creating in the country. He said that the resolution for postponement of elections was approved despite the lack of quorum.
The stalwart of PPP said that 12 people sitting in the senate joked with the masses. He said that the elections will not be suspended adding keeping the masses away from elections is unconstitutional.
He condemned the despicable conspiracy to suspend the elections.
