Karachi (August 6, 2017): Police and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) including Counter Terrorism Department arrested 12 suspects including three terrorists during action in various areas here.
The rapid actions taken by police and LEAs are linked to the sudden increase in the target killings of policemen here.

According to sources the three arrested terrorists were involved in the target killings of police personnel in Korangi and Abul Hassan Ispahani Road.
The arrested terrorists were taken to unidentified place for further investigations.
Meanwhile, acting on an intelligence tip the personnel of Counter Terrorism Department conducted a raid near Saddam Chowk in Saeedabad area here where the suspects opened fire. One suspect was killed in return fire by police while another managed to fled under the cover of the night.
According to police the dead terrorist has been identified as Imran and he was affiliated with MQM London. The dead suspect was involved in eth killings of many persons including police personnel.
Meanwhile Rangers arrested two suspects during a raid near Lal Flat on Rashid Minhas Road. According to sources the arrested suspects are members of militant wing of a political party.
