Karachi (September 14, 2017): A teenage housemaid girl was allegedly tortured and raped in Defence Housing Authority, while the police have arrested five members of the family, where the victim was working.
According to details, a 16-year-old girl worked at a residential apartment in Phase VI, DHA, where according to here, she was brutally tortured and burnt with a hot iron. She said that she cried for mercy but the people did not show any pity on her and continued to torture.
The victim’s father told the media that his daughter was raped, adding that when he reached Jinnah hospital there was no female medico-legal officer and they suggested moving the victim to Civil hospital instead.
Police have registered FIR against the suspects on behalf of the victim’s father and initiated further investigations.
