KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged sit-in against yesterday’s (Thrusday) police crackdown against PTI workers in Islamabad.
After the sit-in, police personnel were called in to control the situation. The protest sit-in is being led by PTI MNA Dr Arif Alvi and MPA Khurram Sher Zaman. The PTi local leadership and a large number of PTI workers are present at the sit-in.
Dr Arif Ali said that Governor Sindh was representative of the federation in the province and the PTI wanted to present a protest memo against the government crackdown on PTI workers.
Later, the PTI leaders and workers after presenting memo to Governor Sindh dispersed peacefully.
