RAWALPINDI: In the 27th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 on Saturday, Karachi Kings posted a mammoth total of 237 runs for 4 wickets against Peshawar Zalmi.
After winning the toss, Peshawar Zalmi opted to field first, a decision that quickly backfired as David Warner and James Vince led a brutal assault on Zalmi’s bowling attack. Warner, in dazzling form, smashed 86 runs, while Vince added a fiery 72 to propel Karachi Kings to one of the highest totals in this year’s tournament.
Khushdil Shah chipped in with a quickfire 43, and Mohammad Nabi remained solid with an unbeaten 26. Irfan Khan contributed 2 runs before the innings concluded at the end of 20 overs.
Despite their best efforts, Peshawar Zalmi’s bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught. Luke Wood emerged as the most successful bowler, claiming 2 wickets, while Ali Za and Arif Yaqoob took one wicket.
