During the hearing of the case regarding action against those involved in crimes and corruption in police department DIG Sultan Khawaja submitted the report about the people involved in corruption to the Supreme Court.
The report says that so far record of 14,000 police personnel has been checked and departmental action is recommended against the 1,370.
Advocate General Sindh told the court that Sultan Khawaja was made the head after Ghulam Haider Jamali over which the court remarked that it has nothing to do with it and that its question is that that what action has been taken against the officers involved in crimes. On this the Sindh government asked the court for six months to complete the action against officers with bad records.
