KARACHI: Karachi University is considering the award of an honorary PhD to acclaimed Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik.
Sources revealed that an emergency meeting of the Karachi University Syndicate has been scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday.
The meeting, set to take place at 3 PM, will be chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Iraqi.
This initiative follows a formal recommendation from the Chancellor of the provincial public universities, Governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori, advocating for the conferral of the honorary degree to Dr. Naik.
