KARACHI: Citizens of Karachi on Saturday offered ‘Salat ul Istasqa’ to seek blessings of Almighty Allah in form of rainfall to counter the intense prevailing heat.
The prayers were offered at PECHS area of the metropolis in a local mosque situated at Sirajud Dawla road.
A huge number of people were in attendance at the mosque to address their prayers to Allah (SWT).
Ahead of prayer commencement, all gathered individuals pleaded from Allah to shower his blessings upon Karachiites and make it rain.
