KARACHI: DG Rangers Sindh Major General Muhammad Saeed has said that the peace has been restored while the economy has strengthened after the operation in Karachi. The lights of Karachi will be kept shining, he added while speaking at a seminar at Karachi University here.
All the Law Enforcement agencies keep the Karachi Operation going through mutual cooperation which has helped restore peace in the city.
Addressing students he called them the future of the country. You have to play your part in the progress and development of Pakistan. The people are not like as they are being portrayed in the media talk shows, the people here are extremely loving and caring, he added.
Thanking the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of the university for inviting him at the ceremony DG Rangers Sindh directed the Rangers authorities to further improve the institution’s security. Prior to his arrival the security was beefed up at the Karachi University with posting of Rangers personnel at all entry points while the Rangers personnel also made the students at the ceremony switch off their mobile phones during the speech of DG Rangers Sindh.
