SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, people of the valley and Muslim-majority areas of Jammu continue to suffer immensely due to military siege on the 104th consecutive day, today.
Due to continued lockdown by Indian government, people could not stock essential commodities for the harsh winter. Public transport is also almost absent from the roads.Shops only open for a brief period in the morning and evening.
Restrictions under Section 144 are enforced amid massive presence of Indian forces. Internet, SMS and prepaid mobile services continue to remain suspended for the people living in the Valley.
