Police have arrested as many as four gangsters from search operations carried out in several areas of Lyari which included Sangoline, Shahbaiglain and Gabool Park while heavy ammunitions and drugs recovered from the possession of the gangsters.
According to the police the arrested included Nadir Dada, Ali Dubai, Saeed Mastana and Sajjid while Saeed Mastana, Sajjid and Ali belonged to a gang war Aziz Baloch group.
In other actions, Police carried out in other areas of the metropolis, an accused in injured state arrested from Defense while a man injured in resistance during a robbery attempt in Orangi’s Allahwala Town. While citizens also caught the robber and tortured him and later handed him over to police along with his arms.
Mominabad police in Orangi Town also arrested an accused after a shootout. On the other side area residents in Baldiya Ittehad Town caught a thief and handed him to police while a policeman injured in a firing incident near Martin quarter and another man injured near Azizabad in another firing incident.
