LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said that the government was fighting with the farmers instead of Modi’s government.
Talking to media here, Shah said that agriculture was the backbone of the country’s economy. He flayed the government for what he said not paying due attention on agriculture.
The opposition leader said that the agriculture of the country was being destroyed. He said that the farmers were not given any compensation in case of damages to their crops.
He said that the government was trying to stop the PPP workers from participating in the farmers’ protest.
He said that the PPP was with the farmers for saving the agriculture sector of the country.
