SWAT: In a powerful display of unity and resolve, the KP Centre of Excellence in collaboration with the University of Swat organized a one-day seminar and solidarity walk aimed at promoting social cohesion, national integration, and condemning the heinous APS Khuzdar bus attack.
The event brought together a diverse gathering of students, faculty members, scholars, and civil society activists who highlighted the pivotal role of academia in fostering peace, tolerance, and national harmony.
Keynote speakers emphasized the moral responsibility of educational institutions in countering extremist ideologies and promoting a culture of dialogue and understanding. They called for renewed efforts to strengthen societal bonds and uphold the principles of unity and coexistence.
The seminar concluded with a Peace Walk across the university campus, where participants carried banners and chanted slogans expressing solidarity with the victims of the APS Khuzdar bus attack. The crowd vehemently condemned the violence, denouncing both its perpetrators and the ideologies fueling such brutality.
Participants also issued a strong call for decisive action against groups they identified as Fitanat-ul-Khawarij and Fitna-tul-Hindustan, labeling them as threats to Pakistan’s stability. They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to national peace and unity, urging the state to adopt firm measures against all anti-Pakistan elements.
The event concluded with a collective declaration: “National cohesion and unity are the cornerstones of a prosperous and peaceful Pakistan.”
