PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a monthly uniform allowance of Rs700 for policemen.
Under this decision, 123845 police officers, including constables, head constables, ASIs and sub-inspectors will receive the allowance.
The approval was granted during the provincial cabinet meeting on February 28.
Each officer will receive Rs8,400 annually under this scheme, allowing them to purchase uniforms as needed.
The initiatives aims to facilitate police personnel and provide them with greater flexibility in uniform procurement.
