Lahore (September 27, 2017): A total of 67,858 cases of petty and serious crimes have been registered by the police here in the country’s second most populated city of the country.
So far this month a total of 4,775 cases of various criminal acts have been registered at the various police stations of the city.
According to details 7,496 criminal cases were lodged in January; 7,343 cases in February; 7,648 cases were registered in March; 7,947 in April; 8,124 in May; 7,366; while the most cases- 8,757- were registered in July.
In addition, 8,451 cases were registered in August and as already mentioned a total of 4,775 cases of various criminal acts have been registered at the various police stations of the city so far this month.
A total of 278 cases of murder, 426 cases of attempted murder, 726 cases of kidnappings, and 29 cases of robbery have been registered at the various police stations of the city thus far this year.
A total of 3,905 motorcycles have been either stolen or snatched from various areas of the city so far this year.
