Lahore:Many of schools, tuition centres and academies closes in many districts of Punjab in view of smog, Notification
As per the notification of Punjab Environment Department, the decision is applicable in Lahore, Hafizabad, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Multan, Lodhran, Wahari and It will be on the districts of Khanewal.
All private and government educational institutions in these districts will remain closed from 7 November 2024 to 17 November 2024.
However, all educational institutions will conduct online classes.
On the other hand, Punjab Education department has also issued the notification for the closure of all educational institutes due to smog.
