Lahore: High Court expressed it displeasure on not to close the markets after 08:00 pm due to smog preventions.
Hearing was held in Lahore High Court on prevention on smog, Justice Shahid Karim heard the pleads of the cases.
Lahore high court while giving the order of water meter to stop water wasting he said, main cause of pollution are car smoke and rush. And order for realignment to clear the traffic.
The court expressed displeasure over the markets and shops remaining open after 8 pm and sought a report from the concerned authorities. Apart from this, the court has also sought suggestions for a long-term policy to tackle smog.
