Lahore Judicial magistrate summons Imran Khan in Islamabad police attack case

LAHORE: Lahore’s Judicial Magistrate Cant has issued a personal summons for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in connection with the case of an attack on Islamabad police outside his residence. The magistrate has scheduled his appearance for July 22 and also issued a warrant for his arrest.

Magistrate Sohail Rafiq of Cant Court, in a directive addressed to the Superintendent of Adiala Jail, stated that Imran Khan must be produced in person by July 22 in relation to the case involving an attack on Islamabad police outside his home in Lahore.

Islamabad police have registered a case against Imran Khan at Rato Shah Police Station in Lahore. The court’s order specifies that the PTI leader, who is currently in Adiala Jail, should be presented in person for proceedings related to this case.Along with the summons, the magistrate also issued a warrant for Imran Khan’s appearance.
