LAHORE: Black clouds showered in Lahore, while more than 100 LESCO feeders have tripped due to strong winds and torrential rains, after which a major part of city is deprived of electricity.
Black clouds surrounded the city followed by strong winds in Lahore since early morning, while the torrential rains caused pleasant weather in the city. Meteorological Department has forecast that further rain is likely in few areas during next 24 hours.
On the other hand, over 100 LESCO feeders have tripped due to torrential rains and strong winds, after which a major part of city is deprived of electricity. The citizens are facing serious problems in Baghbanpura, Marghazar Colony, Islamia Park, Bagh Gul Begum, Arya Nagar, Samanabad, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Shahdra and other areas due to suspension of electricity.
