LAHORE: Residents of Lahore took to streets against the unannounced prolong load-shedding in the city.
As per details, many areas of the provincial capital are facing unannounced and prolonged load-shedding. The residents of Barki neighborhood took to street against unannounced and prolonged power outrages. The protestors blocked road by setting tires on fire.
The protestors resorted to sloganeering against Wapda and government for the prolonged power outages. Police rushed to the site and tried to negotiate with the protestors to pursue them to disperse. However, after failure of the negotiation police resorted to aerial firing and teas gas selling after which the protestors dispersed.
