Islamabad: Today is the last day of anti-polio campaign across the country.
According to the National Emergency Center (NEC) before the last day more than 190.3 million children have been administered the polio drops.
According to the NEC released figures 4 million children immunized with the polio drops in Punjab, 8.431 million in Sindh, 3.993 million in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 2.182 million in Balochistan.
On the other hand, 0.4 64 million children administered polio drops in Islamabad, 0.112 million and 0.164 million in Azad and Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) .
Moreover, owing to the flood situation, the anti-polio campaign has been postponed in nine districts of Punjab whereas the anti-polio campaign will kick off in South KP, Bajur and Upper Dir from September 15.
