Islamabad (February 12, 2018): The Supreme Court Bar Association on Monday announced a day of mourning while activities at Lahore High Court also remained suspended in the wake of the death of the renowned lawyer and human rights champion Asma Jahangir.
As per details, the lawyers community is observing a day of mourning over the death of Asma Jahangir on Monday. The secretary Supreme Court Bar Association Safdar Tarar said that they would observe mourning over the death of Asma Jahangir and would not appear before he courts.

The President Lahore High Court Bar Association also announced to skip court proceedings.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar and other judges of the apex court also expressed grief over the demise of the senior lawyer Jahangir and condoled with the aggrieved family.
