Lawyers protest over Quetta blast, announce countrywide strike tomorrow

Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has strongly condemned horrific Quetta blast and announced countrywide protest  and week-long  mourning over the tragedy.

The PBC in its issued statement said that whole of the country lawyers community will observe strike on Tuesday and will not appear before the courts of the country while black flags will be hoisted over all buildings of bar councils.

Hurriedly called meeting of Peshawar High Court after Quetta blast and heavy loss of lives has announced boycott of the provincial courts on Tuesday (tomorrow)  and three day’s mourning over the painful incident.

Meanwhile, lawyers community in Karachi as well boycotted judicial matters and declared occurring of Quetta blast as security lapse  and as a protest boycotted all the activities of the court.

Like other cities lawyers community of Multan also protested and announced strike on Tuesday over the Quetta tragedy. The lawyers  fraternity said that they will also boycott the courts on tomorrow in sorrow of martyred people of the Quetta blast and they will not appear before the court.

Supreme Court Bar (SCB) President Ali Zafar vehemently   condemned the Quetta blast and announced country wide mourning over the incident.  The lawyers community of Lahore condemned the incident and brought rally against the tragedy.
