Islamabad: Law Enforcement Agencies, Police and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have raided the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) digital media cell on basis of evidences.
According to the police, the PTI digital media cell had become center of fake news and digital terrorism.
Colluding with Pakistan enemy countries anti Pakistan materials were spread from here while people involved in it arrested red handed and along with all the equipment’s.
The Police took possession of record found in the PTI secretariat.
The internet service was suspended around the PTI secretariat while a prisoner van also arrived along with police.
All the routes going towards the PTI secretariat have been blocked while the Islamabad police have refuted the arrest of the PTI chairman Barrister Gohar.
The PTI leader and senator Shibli Faraz said that the police also took possession of the PTI record regarding special seats which has to be submitted in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Sources said that the PTI digital media center had become hub of international disinformation.
Anti Pakistan propaganda was spread from here colluding with the enemy agencies.
The digital media center incited the local people and propaganda campaigns were also run from here.
