Legendary Batsman Younis Khan Turns 42

Lahore (November 30, 2017): Legendary Batsman Younis Khan, the first Pakistani batsman who achieved a staggering record of 10,000 runs in Test matches, celebrated his 42nd birthday on Wednesday.

Kick-starting his heroic cricket journey in February 2000 when he debuted for his first ODI match, Younis Khan has an exhaustive list of achievements to his credit.

Boasting a title of being the only Pakistani batsman to score the most runs and the most centuries for the country in Test cricket history, Younis is also known as the third Pakistani player to score 300 or more runs in an innings.

Earlier, the coveted record of highest runs was held by Javed Miandad (8,832 runs) for 30 long years. Younis then surpassed Miandad in a historic match played in Abu Dhabi back in 2015.
