Web Desk (October 16, 2018): Indian film industry’s dream girl and veteran actress Hema Malini is celebrating her 70th birthday today.
Hema Malini was born in 1948 in Ammankudi, Madras, in a Tamil family. She started her career from an Indian movie “Sapno Kay Sodagar” in 1968. From then, she never looked back and recognized herself as one of the finest artists of the Indian cinema.
She had a long career of 40 years as a Bollywood actress, producer, director and classical dancer.
She glorified in more than 150 Indian movies in which “Jani Mera Naam”, “Andaaz”, “Seeta Aur Geeta”, “Dream Girl” and others, in which her performance was greatly appreciated by the audience.
Hema Malini has been honoured with many Filmfare awards, including Indian fourth highest civilian award “Padmashiri”.
She was cast with dharmendra as a heroin, in an Indian Blockbuster movie “Sholay”, during which both were loving with each other, after that, they had married in 1980.
