LHC dumped all petitions pertaining to Punjab college incident

LAHORE: The full bench of the Lahore High Court has disposed of all petitions related to the Punjab College incident.

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum headed a three-member bench, which heard the case pertaining to the college. Other members of the bench were Justice Ali Zia Bajwa and Justice Abhar Gul Khan.

FIA Director, SSP Investigation and deputy attorney general were present in court.

Deputy Attorney General Asad Bajwa said investigation had completed in the case. He said neither any girl was abused nor did any incident of harassment occur on the campus. Hence, it was all part of propaganda, he argued.

The girl, who was being presented as a potential victim, actually fell from stairs. He said the statements of her parents had also been recorded and they denied any such incident.

The law officer replied in affirmative and said all students who shared messages on the social media denied any such incident.

He added a woman recorded the video by masquerading as the mother of girl. Upon her forensics, it appeared that she was making the videos just for views.
