Rawalpindi (October 05, 2017): Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday grated bail to two former police officer convicted in Benazir Bhutto murder case.
A division bench of LHC Rawalpindi Bench heard bail application of former CCPO Rawalpindi Saud Aziz and SSP Rawal Khurram Shehzad.

The cops were convicted by an anti-terrorism court and sentenced to 17 years behind the bars.
LHC Rawalpindi bench comprising Justice Tariq Abbasi and Justice Habib Ullah heard the bail petitions of police officials.
After hearing arguments of the petitioners counsel the court granted bail to the former cops. The court directed them to submit surety bonds worth Rs0.2 million each.
ATC Judge Mohammad Asghar Khan on August 30, awarded 17 years imprisonment to both the officials in the murder case of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s murder case, who was killed in December 2007, after addressing an election meeting in Rawalpindi.
