LAHORE :The Lahore High Court on Monday granted bail to YouTuber Saad-ur-Rahman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case involving the promotion of gambling applications.
The court approved his bail request, instructing him to provide surety bonds valued at Rs 1 million.
The ruling was delivered by Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry, with Saad-ur-Rahman being represented by lawyers Imran Chadhar and Shaharyar Goraiah.
Ducky Bhai was apprehended by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on August 17, 2025, at Lahore Airport on charges of endorsing gambling apps. The NCCIA Lahore had registered a case against him under several provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Investigations that began on June 13 revealed that certain YouTubers and social media influencers were promoting betting applications on their platforms in exchange for financial benefits.
The FIR alleged that these promotions led to significant financial losses for the public, accusing Saad-ur-Rahman of endorsing multiple gambling apps on his channel and acting as a “Country Manager” for one of them.
Previously, Saad-ur-Rahman had sought bail through District and Sessions Courts, but his petitions were denied, prompting him to approach the High Court for relief.
Earlier this month, the court had directed the NCCIA to present its arguments regarding the matter. The YouTuber had claimed that he was not issued any formal notification by the agency prior to his arrest.
