Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted protective bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in two cases until March 27.
A two-member divisional bench headed by Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi heard former premier protective bail petitions.
The PTI chief’s counsel Salman Safdar said that we reached the court before time adding the signature scan on the petition is of Imran Khan.
The court ordered the counsel to take signature of Imran Khan on filing petition. Imran Khan signed the petition once again.
The PTI chief had filed protective petition in the two cases. Former premier said that he wanted to appear before the respective courts. However there is fear of arrest during the court appearance.
Imran Khan counsels insisted the court to approve his protective bail.
During the course of the hearing, the court ordered Imran Khan to leave his personal vehicle while the court said police is present for the security.
