LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has received a petition challenging the nomination papers of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah for the upcoming Senate by-elections.
A bench of the Lahore High Court, led by Justice Khalid Ishaq, is scheduled to hear the matter tomorrow. In the petition, Advocate Muhammad Afaq argued that Rana Sanaullah did not provide complete and accurate information in his nomination documents. He also claimed that the affidavit submitted by the PML-N leader was invalid and that the nomination form issued by the returning officer was unconstitutional and unlawful.
The lawyer has requested the court to declare Rana Sanaullah’s nomination papers invalid and void.
