Rawalpindi (September 23, 2017) : An officer of Pakistan Army was martyrdom in an attack on Pakistan Army post by terrorists from across the border in Rajgal, Khyber Agency.
A statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that terrorists fired from across the border on the newly established Pakistani border post in Rajgal, martyring Lieutenant Arsalan Alam, who was commanding the post when he got hit.

Lieutenant Arsalan Alam was 22 years old, the statement said. Lieutenant Arsalan was only son his parents and brother of three sisters.
The martyred officer was from Rawalpindi’s tehsil Kotli Sattiyan.
Sources said that the post which came under attack was set up recently.
It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan Army has recently conducted Operation Khyber-IV in Rajgal Valley of Khyber Agency to clear the area from Islamic State terrorists.
