Karachi (July 4, 2017): Weather is expected to get more pleasant in Karachi with forecast of light rain lashing the city today.
Forecasting light rains today in Karachi the Meteorological Department also predicted partially cloudy weather across the city. The temperature recorded today in the city was 30 degree centigrade with maximum temperature remaining between 33-35 degree centigrade.
The precipitation was recorded 78 percent. The Met Department forecasts substantial reduction in intensity of heat after noon.
Meanwhile, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country today with chances of thunders howers with gusty winds in some parts of Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The temperature of some major cities recorded on Tuesday morning was: Islamabad 28 centigrade, Lahore 30 degree, Karachi and Peshawar 29 degree, Quetta 23 degree, Gilgit 18 degree, Murree 17 degree, and Muzaffarabad 22 degree centigrade.
