Raiwind Mafia, Haqqani Behind Reham Khan’s Book: Fawad

Islamabad (June 05, 2018): Spokesman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday alleged “Raiwind mafia” and Pakistan’s former ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani are behind  Reham Khan’s upcoming book.

Addressing a presser in Islamabad today, Fawad Chaudhry said that “I demand Reham Khan to take back the contents of her book within 24 hours and apologise or we will take action.

Terming the book a part of “Raiwind scheme,” the PTI leader said the book was supported by Hussain Haqqani.

Further slamming the book which has stirred controversy in the country even before it is published, Chaudhry said, “FIA’s cyber crime wing should investigate the emails Ahsan Iqbal sent to Reham.”

“There are also reports of a meeting between Maryam Nawaz and Reham,” he added. He also asked the Council Of Islamic Ideology (CII)  to take up the issue “as Reham has attempted to damage the entire family system”.

“Reham said that she penned the book while sitting with her young son and sister but the contents of the book are shocking and damaging of the entire family system of Pakistan,” the PTI leader said.Chaudhry further questioned how Reham had been living a “princess’s life” while not earning any money.

“What is her source of income,” he asked while alleging that Reham is no longer employed.

“She has been divorced for three years and has been snapped at five-star hotels and islands in Istanbul but where is she getting the money from,” he asked.The PTI leader also quoted Salman Ahmed as alleging that Reham received 100,000 pound sterling from Shehbaz Sharif.

Earlier, Reham Khan’s former husband Ijaz Rehman, close aide of Imran Khan Zulfiqar Bukhari, former skipper Pakistan cricket team Wasim Akram and Pakistani origin British woman have sent a defamation notice to the former wife of Imran Khan over malicious content in her upcoming book.

The defamation notice has been served to Reham through a London-based law firm.Reham Terms Defam. Notices ‘Effort To Silence A Woman’The legal notice was served to Reham on the request of Zulfi Bukhari.

In the legal notice, the law firm states that the manuscript of Reham Khan’s upcoming autobiography contains malicious and misleading information regarding its said clients which has hurt them and damaged their repute.

The legal notice sent on her email address, further says Reham should take back all her misleading and false allegations.

However, it was unclear whether Reham has received the email yet or not.

Legal Notice to Hamza Ali Abbasi

Meanwhile, Reham Khan has served legal notice to Hamza Ali Abbasi, saying Abbasi has made propaganda against her.

The notice further says Hamza Abbasi had alleged taking £100,000 from Shahbaz Sharif besides contacting with Ahsan Iqbal. She has demanded an unconditional apology from Hamza over media or else she would file a defamation suit of Rs5 billion against him.

Reham is making headlines again after the manuscript of her book was leaked online, angering PTI.
