Karachi: The holding up of second phase of local bodies elections in Karachi and Hyderabad once again in doldrums as Pakistan and New Zealand will face each other for the third ODI on the day announced for the elections, January 15.
It is pertinent to mention here that New Zealand cricket team is coming to Karachi after a long time.
The Kivi team had left the Pakistan the day match had to be played on fears of security on September 17, 2021.
A large number of police personnel will be deployed for the security of Pakistan- New Zeland cricket series. New Zealand will play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) in Karachi on January 11, 13, and 15.
The guest team will also play test in Karachi on January 27, 2023.
The police have already informed the ECP and courts over scarcity of police personnel.
