Karachi: The load shedding amid sizzling heatwave could not be controlled all across Karachi.
The load shedding duration has increased by 12 to 16 hours despite people of Karachi regular protest, demonstrations, the sole distributor of K-electric didn’t provide any relief.
Citizens said that there life has become living hell owing to load shedding amid heatwave in the city.
The most affected areas from load shedding includes Malir, Liaqutabad, Nazimabad, Korangi, Landhi and many other areas.
The citizens said that due to sizzling hot weather going outside is not possible but electricity outages have made lives of children, elderly and patients miserable.
There is no one to heed to loud voices of protests, sit-ins and demonstrations as well as no one in the city to stop unannounced load shedding of long hours to give people sigh of relief.
The citizens have demanded the government to end load shedding of long house by rejecting the K-electric excuse of line losses and electricity theft.
