Lahore: Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) crisis has intensified all across the country including Lahore as LPG prices have increased by Rs 60 to 70.
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited ( SNGPL) ensuring provision of gas during Sehar and Aftar , however the citizens compelled to buy LPG on exorbitant rates due to unavailability of gas during the day.
Due to the increase in the LPG prices rickshaw drivers and citizens both are facing difficulties.
The LPG dealers said that owing to the uptick in the LPG prices their sales have declined.
The LPG Chairman Zardar Khan said that due to protest sit-in in Balochistan, the gas supply interrupted.
He demanded Army Chief Syed Asim Muneer and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take action for restoring the LPG.
