Karachi: The prime suspects in the murder case of young gold medalist Itteqa Moin has reportedly escaped from the police custody during a court appearance.
The accused, Zahir, was produced in court for the murder case but managed to flee during the appearance.
The police have lodged an First Information Report (FIR) against constable Ishtiaq.
As per the FIR, the lock up was opened to take accused to Marri jail while the accused fled the scene by pushing the constable.
Zahir has been arrested from Balochistan.
