Islamabad: The main character of cipher scandal Pakistan foreign secretary Asad Majeed Khan is going to retire today.
Asad Majeed Khan was 31st foreign secretary of Pakistan while before this post, he served as ambassador to the United States of America.
Diplomatic sources said that senior diplomat Dr Syrus Sajjad Qazi will replace Asad Majeed Khan. Dr Qazi will assume his office today.
Asad Majeed Khan paid farewell meeting President Dr Arif Alvi today.
It is expected that the retired diplomat will meet caretaker premier Anwar Ul Haq Kakar today.
