Karachi: Passport office Karachi’s Malir neighborhood is receiving bribes openly through brokers.
The brokers have filled the space outside the wall of passport office by placing chairs and tables.
They are charging a sum of Rs 2000 to normal citizens.
On the other hand a sum of Rs 5000 bribe from resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Whereas they are compelling bangalis and afghan nationals to give a bribe of Rs 10000 to get passports.
Moreover, the officials of the passport office have closed their eyes for taking action against the illegal practice and corruption.
