Karachi: The death toll from Naegleria has been reached 11 for this year.
According to spokesman of health department Sindh, a patient, Kashif Qamar-45-year-old is new person who suffered from the disease which claimed his life.
He was resident of Bufferzone in the Karachi district central. He was admitted to the Imam Clinic hospital in North Nazimabad Block I on November 1.
Kashif Qamar tested positive in his PCR test. He was succumbed to the disease yesterday by facing fever and headache for three days.
This is third death reported in the district central, Karachi.
Naegleria has claimed lives one each in Jamshoro interior Sindh, Kemari district Karachi South, Korangi, Malir, Karachi west, and Karachi East.
