JHANG: A man on Sunday killed his sister in the name of honour in Punjab’s district of Jhang.
The incident took place in Siddiqabad where a man named Shehzad Shafiq murdered her 18-year-old sister with an axe.
However, the killer fled after completing his bid.
Police reached the spot after receiving information of the event and shifted victim’s dead body to DHQ Hospital for post-mortem.
Police also constituted certain teams in order to search and arrest the suspect.
